We're excited to kick-off a new year at FaithWorks with an invitation to Dana & Dennis Letkeman's place just 10 minutes outside the city on the beautiful La Salle river! Join us this Saturday, September 7th at 6:00 pm for a weiner roast and singing around the campfire! We'll provide hotdogs and marshmallows and are asking you to please bring a roasting stick (if you have one), lawn chair, your own drink, and a nut-free/coconut-free salad or dessert to share. Pastor Melanie will offer a short reflection and Robyn, Joel, and Brian will lead us in some singing.

For those who have a canoe, kayak, paddleboard, dinghy, raft...you're invited to arrive at 4:00 pm for paddling down the river. This is the BYOB (bring your own boat) part of the event!

In the event of bad weather, we'll be cancelling, so please watch your email if the sky looks stormy. We're also encouraging you to reach out to each other to arrange carpooling.

Here are the directions:

From Oak Bluff, turn left at the first set of lights onto Macdonald Road/Road 6E (there won’t be a street sign). Drive for about 10 minutes and watch for the treeline along the La Salle river. As soon as you drive over the bridge, take your first right onto Gordon’s Way. Dana and Dennis’ house is the third house - 5155 Gordon’s Way (you can look it up on Google maps, or look up D&D Homestead).
