Join us for Pancake Tuesday, March 4, 5:00-6:30 pm at the FaithWorks office.  This is a come-and-go pancake supper and the cost is $2 per person.  Since we no longer have an office kitchen, we need to arrange for the food in a different way and it's helpful to know how many people to expect.  Please RSVP to Robyn Penner at penner.robyn@gmail.com by March 1st if you plan to attend.   

Pancake Tuesday is a FaithWorks tradition honouring Shrove Tuesday, the day before Ash Wednesday and the season of Lent.  Historically, Shrove Tuesday was the day people used up the butter, eggs, and sugar they would give up during Lent.  We may not choose to restrict our diet in this way during Lent, but it is a good season to do some "spiritual housecleaning" as we let go of habits that have become unhealthy and take up practices that help us reflect on the death and resurrection of Jesus.  We hope you join us!
