What We Believe

Purpose
FaithWorks is an intergenerational group of people committed to caring for the communities in which we live and work through practical service and spiritual formation. This church exists to serve the community in the name of Jesus.

Objectives
1. Practical Service: As a faith community, we aim to identify and meet needs within our communities. Our focus will be on community needs not presently being addressed by other agencies. We also encourage people to get involved in the communities in which they live, being the church as part of their daily lives.
2. Spiritual Formation: Recognizing that every person is on a journey towards God, our aim is to facilitate that journey by living our lives in the community as followers of Jesus, through teaching, worship, modeling and discipleship.

Values
Growing:  Looking more like God, our Father, every day.
Authentic:  Being who we are (children of God, followers of Jesus, empowered by the Holy Spirit).
Inviting:  Helping each other take next steps towards Jesus.
Serving:  Putting our love for people into action.
Safety:  Providing a safe place for everyone.
Intentional:  Acting strategically, consistent with our purpose.
Flexible:  Refusing to grow stagnant.
Reproducing:  Growing through mentoring – no one walks alone.
